The Gruffalo, 40cm

The Gruffalo appears here as a 40 cm plush with a soft textile body and a seated character shape that suits both close cuddles and story-led play. Brown tones, a lighter belly and the familiar face create an instantly recognisable version of the book character, ready for a place on the bed after reading time. The design picks up key Gruffalo features with large yellow eyes, white horns, tusks, teeth, claws, a green nose detail, black whiskers and a dark tuft of hair. Short arms, large feet and a long tail add to the silhouette and give the figure a full, rounded look from every angle. The filled body keeps its shape well in a seated position, so the character reads clearly during play and when set down between uses. Suitable from birth, it stays focused on soft materials and a familiar fictional figure rather than added mechanisms or hard components. During story time, The Gruffalo can sit alongside the book and turn familiar scenes into hands-on play. In quieter moments, the 40 cm format gives enough presence for carrying from bed to sofa or keeping close during rest, while the soft finish supports a calm, comforting feel.
